  I was recommended to see Shamika at L.I.F.T 31 salon and spa by my mother and I’ve been going there for at least a year and it wasn’t perfect but it was tolerable. After being a loyal customer for over a year I asked Shamika if she knew how to install a “360 closure sew in” so I made an appointment for November 8, 2017 and she was honest and said ‘no’ I’m not comfortable and don’t know how to install a “360 closure’ sew in” so she referred me to a colleague that rents a booth in the salon, Jasmyne, to install the “360 closure sew in”.
  
  Jasmyne suggested creating a wig instead a traditional sew in hairstyle. She said that creating a wig and sewing it down would last longer and Shamika concurred. They convinced me to try it. Jasmyne reassured me she had the applicable training and expertise to create “360 closure wig” and sew it on. Therefore, I made an appointment for November 10, 2017 with Jasymne to get the “360 closure wig” sewed on. I left my hair bundles and the 360 closure with Jasmyne to create the wig to be sewed on November 10, 2017. After the “360 closure wig” was installed it seemed to be ok; however, the next day I knew something was wrong and I contacted Jasmyne ASAP to advise my dissatisfaction and concerns regarding the “360 closure wig” she installed and Jasmyne callously told me she was out of town and I had to wait until she returned on November 15, 2017 for her to look at it. Meanwhile each passing day (it hadn’t been a week yet) until November 15, 2017 the hairstyle was unraveling and there was a large and noticeably bulge in the back of my head plus the hairstyle was NOT securely installed and the wig was so loose the wig would flip up and my braided hair underneath was exposed. It was highly embarrassing! I had to wear headbands to hide my braids that were highly visible because Jasmyne did a poor job of gluing the lace securely. I never wore or had a wig made and I won’t again, this was a horrible wig and the installation was poorly done to put it mildly. I was too horrified to take pictures, but I wish I did because I would’ve filed a civil lawsuit!
  
  On November 15, 2017, I candidly advised Jasmyne that I was extremely unhappy with this “360 closure wig and the poor installation”. I requested a full refund of $200!
  
  As a result of Jasmyne fraudulent representation of her skills and stealing my $200, I reported L.I.F.T 31 salon and spa to the Better Business Bureau for fraud and theft. The owners of L.I.F.T. 31 salon and spa SHOULD HAVE insisted Jasmyne refund the $200 to me to resolve the dispute and keep the salon’s reputation in good standing and essentially do the right thing by the customer! However, no one at L.I.F.T. 31 salon or spa intervened and allowed Jasmyne to deceive and steal my $200! Lastly as a result of this dispute my mother and I have taken our business elsewhere and have nothing but negative feedback to say about L.I.F.T. salon and spa and will post this review on every feedback website exercising our 1st Amendment right!
